As a Senior Industrial Designer at Cruise one of my main projects was to adapt the Origin (ridehail vehicle) into delivery vehicles. We built various prototypes and tested with both clients and customers to simplify and improve both the loading and unloading experience. We designed a unit that could be mounted within the Origin ridehail vehicle to convert it into a delivery unit. It was quite a challenging problem with loads of constraints and I’m excited to see this on the road.
